Salah satu jenis penemuan nggak penting yang mungkin nggak ada gunanya tapi seneng aja kalo tau. Tau tim American Footbal San Francisco 49ers? Ternyata angka 49-nya merujuk pada tahun dimulainya “Gold Rush” – histeria pencarian emas besar-besaran di Amerika – pada tahun 1849.
Gold Rush sendiri berawal saat seseorang bernama James Marshall kebetulan menemukan emas saat lagi kerja di ranch. Berita langsung tersebar luas, dan konon dalam 2 tahun populasi California Utara waktu itu bertambah 86.000.
